RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary and have a teen in custody.
Just after 3a.m. Thursday, officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property at Casey's General Store in the 300 block of Riley Ave. in Ogden, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Someone had broken a window with a baseball bat, entered through the broken window, and stole approximately $250 worth of vaping pods. The damage to the window is worth approximately $500.
Police responded to the call and quickly identified the suspect as Estevan Rochin, 16, of Ogden.
Just after 6a.m. Wednesday, police arrested him on requested charges of burglary and criminal damage to property. Rochin will be processed through juvenile intake and released to a guardian.
