Live Well Geary County exemplifies community-driven action. They develop strategies that make healthy choices accessible where residents live, learn, work and play. That work spans community planning, food systems resilience and programs that encourage active lifestyles. That aligns directly with the K-State Extension mission of strengthening community wellbeing.
Live Well Geary County was presented with the Extension Appreciation Award Thursday night at the 4-H / Senior Center. Representatives of the organization, Susan Jagerson, Kalie Kipp and Vickie Bobbitt were in attendance to accept the award.
