On Thursday at 4:29 a.m. Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Henry Gate, Fort Riley to assist Fort Riley Police with a hit and run. The Sheriff's Department said that Deputies were advised the suspect had struck a barrier at Henry Gate before fleeing the scene back into Geary County Deputies were able to locate the suspect and custody was transferred to Fort Riley Police. Case is still under investigation.
