According to KDOT the eastbound Exit 296/Washington St. on ramp at Junction City is closed due to road construction work until about March 18. The left lane of eastbound I-70 is closed from mm 294 to 301 until about March 18. 

Beginning March 18, weather permitting one lane in each direction will at reduced speed. Median crossovers will carry one lane of westbound traffic through construction on EB I-70 while deteriorated pavement is replaced. Westbound&nbsp; I-70 ramps will be closed at times to allow for pavement replacement. In late June/July, when the project reaches Exit 296, KDOT and the city will replace all pavement on the Washington St. roundabout.&nbsp;&nbsp;
