HARVEY COUNTY —One person is dead following a single-vehicle accident just before 7:30p.m. Sunday southeast of Hesston.
A vehicle driven by Traci Slater, 35, of Hesston, was traveling in the 5500 Block of North Hesston Road, according to the Harvey County Sheriff's office.
The vehicle left the road, entered the north ditch and rolled. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicle. It is unknown if Slater was wearing a seat belt. The accident remains under investigation.

The vehicle left the road, entered the north ditch and rolled. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. . There were no other occupants in the vehicle. It is unknown if the woman was wearing a seat belt. The accident remains under investigation.
The name of the driver has not been released.
