The Junction City Blue Jays ( 1-3 ) picked up their first win of the season with a 32-6 victory over the Emporia Spartans in Emporia on Friday night.
The Spartans tallied the first points of the night, eating nearly eight minutes of the clock and then turned away Junction City's first drive.
From there, though, the Blue Jays defense was able to force three turnovers while the offense would put together three scoring drives before halftime.
Junction City will host the Manhattan Indians next Friday.
