Postseason play in high school baseball and softball begin this next week.
In baseball Junction City ( 8-12 ) will play at Lawrence Free State ( 13-7 ) on Wednesday. The other half of the bracket finds Wichita West ( 11-7 ) playing Dodge City ( 8-12 ) in the tournament at Lawrence Free State. The championship game will be played after the two semifinal round contests.
In softball Junction City ( 6-14 ) will play at Garden City ( 16-4 ) on Wednesday while in that regional the other half of the bracket will pit Wichita Northwest ( 15-5 ) against Wichita North ( 7-13 ). The tournament championship game will also be played on Wednesday in Garden City.
