Riley Sams-Frost was recognized as the September Junction City High School Student of the Month by the JC Breakfast Optimists and JCHS Junior Optimists. Each month high school's Junior Optimist Club receives nominations from teachers and then votes on a Student of the Month to be recognized who exemplifies the tenets of The Optimist Creed.
Riley is a senior in the Fine Arts, Human Services Academy at JCHS. Her goals are to be a teacher of early childhood children and has been accepted at Emporia State University to begin her program next school year in that area of study with a minor in Psychology.
