Saturday is the day for the 39th annual Tour of Homes at Fort Riley which will feature 12 historic homes and two chapels. The location of the tour is the Historic Main Post at Fort Riley. Self-guided tours begin at the Custer House from 3 to 7 p.m.
You can see historic houses on Post decorated for the holiday season. The tour includes the historic main post chapel and St. Mary's Chapel, the first stone chapel erected in Kansas, completed in 1861.
Tickets are required and can be purchased in advance at https://hasfr.square.site/ for $20 each or on the day of the event for $25. The annual tour of homes is open to the public.
