Geary USD 475 hopes to break ground on an Early Childhood Center early next fall. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Reginald Eggleston recently released that information and said officials are in the early stages of looking at the blueprints or schematics.
"We're looking at a facility with 24 classrooms and all of the supporting elements that Pre-K needs, said Eggleston. "It's going to be around the 26 school year when we look at moving into that facility. "The Superintendent noted that he will start having conversations with the school board about any additional amenities that they may want to add to the facility.
The Center will serve three and four year old students. It will be built at 820 North Eisenhower Drive.
