C.L. Hoover Opera House will be the site for a handbell concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, featuring the Colorado Springs based Forte Handbell Quartet.
Opera House Co-Director, Sheila Markley, said they sponsor a handbell concert once a year. "While there are not a lot of people who know a lot about handbells, it is a very unique and exciting presentation. "
Forte strives to explore, innovate, inspire and glorify God through the gift of music. The musicians of Forte include Luke Nabeta, Megan Reishus, Dillon Ekle and Troy Marting. They have been featured performers and faculty at Handbell Musicians of America events and independent workshops and have presented several successful tours across the country.
