Grandview and Washington Elementary Schools have been presented with a 2021 Challenge Award from the Confidence in Education Task Force. The honor was announced at the Monday night school board meeting in Junction City by State Board of Education member Deena Horst. "It is my honor to be here tonight to recognize and celebrate two of the great success stories in our state. Staff members at Grandview Elementary and Washington Elementary Schools are making a real difference for our most at-risk populations."
Horst noted that the top 100 schools are recognized for outstanding achievement and uncommon accomplishments based on Kansas assessment results, attendance and other demographic information."
