Middle school basketball games have begun and high school basketball practices begin Monday at Saint Xavier School. Shawn Augustine, Principal, said their opening games will be in the SHEA Tournament at Flint Hills Christian Dec. 1-3. There will be both boys and girls teams at the high school.
Augustine said there are seven to eight girls. "We're excited to not have to play anybody up from middle school, solid high school team for the girls and very thrilled about it."
Augustine expects a solid boys team comprised of one senior, several juniors and then there are some sophomores and freshmen. "Excited to see high school sports get under way and to see what we have to offer there.
