The Geary County Schools USD 475 Board of Education approved the recommendation from administration to purchase cameras for approximately $87,774 for Seitz Elementary and Fort Riley Elementary, who are the schools that are in the most need of camera upgrades.

USD 475 was awarded a 50/50 match for safety and security initiatives throughout the district in the amount of $110,000.

Converge One had the lowest cost from various vendors that submitted pricing. The safety and security grant from KSDE provides funding in conjunction with the operations master plan.
