Sherri Childs will be the only candidate on the ballot for an unexpired term for Geary County Treasurer. She was the only person to file for election before the filing deadline on Wednesday.
Childs is currently serving in the Treasurer's post following her appointment to succeed Kathy Tremont, who retired.
