RCPD: Manhattan boy was crossing street when struck by car

MANHATTAN—Law enforcement authorities investigating a pedestrian accident that injured a 7-year-old Manhattan boy released additional information Thursday.

Just after 8a.m. Wednesday, officers responded the intersection of Tuttle Cove Road and Terrea Heights Drive in n Manhattan.

At the scene, first responders found a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Andrew Spencer Tomb III, 78, of Manhattan had hit Tommy Hagadorn-Brecken, 7, of Manhattan while the boy was crossing the roadway.

EMS transported Hagadorn-Brecken to Via Christi then Life Star transferred him to Stormont Vail by for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  He is a student at Bergman Elementary School.  Authorities had no updated  information on his condition early Thursday.
