Governor Kelly has announced that 16 Kansas communities will receive a combined of more $13.7 million for federal and state funding for airport and energy grid resilience improvement projects.
Junction City will receive $320,000 for Airfield Obstruction Removal.
Junction City will receive Build Kansas funding totaling $15,200, Federal funding $304,000 and there will be an $800 applicant contribution for a total project cost of $320,000.
