Select law enforcement officers and employees who have performed exemplary service beyond their normal duties in 2020 / 2021 will be honored in the seventh annual Law Enforcement Officer of the Year banquet. The banquet, hosted by Junction City / Geary County Crime Stoppers, will be held Friday, March 4th from 6-9 p.m. at the Milford Lake Conference Center at Acorns Resort.
Up to 14 honorees will be selected from among multiple law enforcement agencies. The purpose of the banquet is to demonstrate citizen support for the law enforcement agencies that serve in Geary County.
Table sponsorship includes two event tickets ( more if needed ) for the sponsor and a placard on the table stating sponsorship. A table consists of eight people, and the other six tickets are given to local law enforcement to attend. There will be a buffet style meal, followed by a guest speaker and presentation of awards.
