
Junction City girls wrestling placed 3rd at league competition this past week. The team finished with a 2–2 record in duals.
Junction City defeated Topeka High 84–0 and beat Emporia 57–21. The girls lost to Washburn Rural 45–33 and lost to Manhattan 56–22.
The girls wrestled hard and had many placers in the tournament.

The girls will travel to regionals this week to attempt to qualify for the KSHSAA State tournament. There will be Sixteen wrestlers in the brackets and must place top 8 to qualify for the State tournament.
