Junction City Commissioners have approved a Senior Center request for $35,000 in funding for 2027. This will replace money cut by the County in the budget process.

In the future funding for the Center can be a line item in the budget. Grant assistance can also be&nbsp; sought to help with expenses.

Without the money officials could have been forced to ckose one or two days per week but now that will not be necessary. Ninety percent of the seniors served reside in Junction City.
