Junction City Public Works has identified March 18th as the date that KDOT will begin Phase Two of the I-70 replacement project. The goal will be to replace deteriorated mainline pavement on westbound I-70 from mile marker 296 to mile marker 300.
The Exit 296/Washington westbound I-70 Off Ramp, Exit 298/Chestnut westbound I-70 Off Ramp and Exit 299/J-Hill Road westbound I-70 on ramp will be closed when work starts in March through the end of Phase two.
