RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating alleged fraud in Manhattan.
Just before 2:30p.m. Monday, officers filed a report of fraud in Manhattan. A 22-year-old woman reported an unknown suspect stole her identity and accumulated debt in her name, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The total estimated loss associated with this case is $20,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.
