
RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a drug offender on new allegations.
Just after 11a.m. Tuesday, police arrested suspect Anthony Moss, 56, of Manhattan on requested charges that include four counts of violation of offender registration after he failed to properly maintain registration pursuant to the Kansas Offender Registration Act, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Moss has been listed on the offender registry after a felony conviction in 2022 for distributing heroin and other stimulants, according to the KBI offender registry. The crimes were committed in 2019.
He has additional previous convictions for theft, burglary, drugs and offender registration.
Moss remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $30,000.
