SGT (Retired) Kevin D. Myers, 62, of Herington, KS, formerly of Junction City, KS, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home in Herington, KS. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given in Kevin's name to is wife Sarah Myers. Kevin was born July 4, 1958, in Kelly, KY, the son of Hugh and Ruby (Spurlin) Myers. Kevin served in the United States Army having retired in 1995. After his retirement, he worked as a security guard. He was also active as the safety officer for the Civil Air Patrol. He married Sarah Day on September 21, 2012 in Ogden, KS. Those individuals that are left to mourn his loss is his loving wife Sarah of the home in Herington, KS; two sons, Kevin Dale "Dale" Myers, Jr. of St. Alma, VT and David E. Myers of Winfield, KS; two brothers, Michael Myers and Neil Myers both of Hopkinsville, KY; two sisers, Teresa Goodacre of Hopkinsville, KY and Susie Ellis of Memphis, TN and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
