Efforts to support the Junction City Blue Jay wrestling program will be under way this weekend when the Blue Jay Takedown Club hosts a yard sale on Saturday and Sunday at 1219 Miller Drive. The hours will be 7 a.m. to noon on both days.
Tyler Gonzales explained that the club raises funds to benefit the high school team to meet needs such as helping make camps and clinics affordable for wrestlers, helping purchase their memberships for USA Wrestling so they can compete in wrestling outside of the high school season and meals or extra gear for the wrestlers.
