Junction City/Geary County residents can attend the Community Forum 2024 –Coming Together, on March 18th to provide input on the future growth of the community. You will learn of a top-down model and be a part of a bottom-up approach.
Those attending will engage in a brainstorming workshop about making the city and county a better, more interesting, and more lovable community. Two of the proposed projects from the workshop will receive a $500 grant to implement their project that encourages the whole community to come together on.
The event is limited to 200 people. So far 84 people have registered.
The forum is funded by a Heartland Challenge Grant from the Ewing Marion Kaufman Foundation. It will be held at the Eagles. 203 East 10th Street, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
