Jeremie Myers has been promoted to the position of Public Works Administrator for Geary County. The hiring was confirmed by Geary County Commission Chairman Keith Ascher.
Myers succeeds Corey Trumpp, who recently retired.
Myers is a lifelong resident of Geary County. He started employment for Geary County Public Works Department in 2014 serving in the roles of Heavy Equipment Operator, Assistant Shop Supervisor, Shop Supervisor as well as the Assistant Administrator under the previous Public Works Administrator Corey Trumpp for the last three years.
"Being a part of the Geary County Public Works team has been very gratifying, and I look forward to continuing to be a part of the department’s growth as well as working with the citizens of the county."
