A red flag warning will be in effect from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday in portions of the Flint Hills, including Geary and Riley counties.
The high Sunday is expected to reach the low- to mid-60s. Northwest winds will be sustained at 25 to 30 mph., gusting up to 40 mph. The overnight low will be right at the freezing point.
The mercury will begin to rise as the work week begins, with a high in the mid-70s Monday and in the mid- to upper-80s Tuesday and Wednesday.
There is a chance of rain or thunderstorms both Tuesday and Wednesday.
