The Geary County Historical Society will host "On the Homefront," a World War II themed history-based event on Saturday, March 21st from 1:00-3:30pm at the museum located at 530 N. Adams. This history experience will include hands-on artifacts from the 1940s, a taste of historic ration-friendly cake, a chance to watch local WWII veteran interviews, and interactive activities for all ages.
On the Homefront is a come-and-go style event, and no RSVP is required. Entry into the museum is always free, but the Historical Society does accept donations which help keep daily operations running smoothly.
