The Geary County Free Fair opens on Sunday. The location for the Free Fair is at 1025 South Spring Valley Road on the west side of Junction City.
Sunday the 21st activities will kick off with the Pedal Pull at 5 p.m. and the 4-H Horse Show at 6 p.m.
Other events during the week range from the 4-H Dairy Goat / Sheep Show Monday night at 7 p.m. to the 4-H Bucket Calf and Beef Show at 7 p.m. Tuesday and the 4-H Swine Show at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The 4-H Project & Livestock Auction is scheduled at 6:30 Thursday evening and is preceded by the 4-H Barbecue and Watermelon Feed from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This is the 99th year for the fair in Geary County.
