City staff highlighted their EMS numbers for the Geary County Commission Monday. The two entities share the cost of the EMS service.
At the conclusion of the discussion the County submitted a proposal to the City for a settlement through the end of the year and then negotiate farther, according to Commissioner Keith Ascher. Commissioner Trish Giordano said the County is "willing to negotiate on the numbers they ( City ) have presented."
The two entities have disagreed recently on the amount of costs the County must pay.
