Thursday evening at 9:21 p.m. Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded to K-177 Highway at mile marker 92 for a single vehicle non-injury accident. The Sheriff's Department said Dalton W. Matthews of Dwight was traveling northbound in his Chrysler Town and Country Van when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported. The owner of the vehicle made arrangements for the vehicle to be removed from the scene.
