Geary Community Schools Foundation Kicks off Fall Campaign

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – The Geary Community Schools Foundation’s 2026 Major Saver Fall Campaign will run during the month of September.The campaign allows USD 475 students the opportunity to earn coins by not only competing in fun challenges, but also by gaining supporters. The more coins a student earns, the more prizes they unlock.

By purchasing a Geary Community Schools Foundation Digital Card, families will be able to receive special offers and discounts from local and area businesses. Please visit the websites below to enroll.

The Major Saver program benefits the Geary Community Schools Foundation and your child’s school. Since 2016, over $198,000 has been raised with the program. Its mission is to enhance the quality of education in Geary County Schools USD 475 by enlarging the resources available to each school, while structuring a partnership between the schools, parents, businesses and community so that they can achieve educational excellence.

In May of 2026, the Geary Community Schools Foundation also announced the hiring of Jade White as its new executive director, succeeding longtime USD 475 employee Margie Pinaire, who retired during the 2025-26 school year.A lifelong Junction City resident, White has strong ties to USD 475, having attended Franklin Elementary, Fort Riley Elementary, Sheridan Elementary, Junction City Middle School and Junction City High School. She also previously served the district in roles within Teaching and Learning and Student Support Services.
