There is an opportunity for the public to meet the candidates of the republican party on Wednesday, July 24. The event will be at the Blu Restaurant and Bar at 602 N. Washington St in Junction City. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Candidates from the republican party that will be there are the candidates that are up for election in the primary election on August 6.

For Geary County Commission District 3, Keith Ascher and Bobby Miller.

For Kansas House of Representatives District 65, Shawn Chauncey and Jeff Underhill.

For Kansas Senate District 17, Mike Argabright and David Schneider.
