Dr. Richard Lochamy is retiring after 35 years of practice. There was a steady stream of visitors during his retirement reception on Thursday at the C.L. Hoover Opera House in Junction City.
"I have a lot of personal plans coming up. At the end of the year I'll be going to Antartica. And I can say when I get back that I've been to all seven continents on this good planet. "
Lochamy noted with his previous office staff he had been to six out of seven original Wonders of the World. The single missing piece was the Great China Wall, which has now been arranged. "So after the summer I can say that I have been to all seven original Wonders of the World."
Lochamy enjoyed visiting with numerous former patients during the reception. He plans to continue living in Geary County.
