reparations are under way for a brick and mortar start to the next school year. That information was provided by USD 475 Superintendent of Schools Dr. Reginald Eggleston during a social media briefing Wednesday.
"Eggleston encouraged students to enroll. "I know that there are some concerns, pandemic and all, but we will plan to have brick and mortar school for the fall. If there are some particulars or some circumstances surrounding health or just concerns we ask that you would please share with the principal of the school. We will be making plans to support students who may have some needs that need to be addressed, or should be addressed so work with us and please be patient with us on that."
Eggleston said officials have been monitoring enrollment and there seems to be great progress as the district prepares for the upcoming school year.
The Superintendent noted that when the school year begins the district will take all the precautionary measured that necessary, based on recommendations from the Geary County Health Department.
Eggleston said there will be a committee formed to talk about the start of the school year, with expertise from across the city.
