The Junction City Law Enforcement Block Party is held once a year at Heritage Park (6th and Washington). It's a family event with lots of entertainment and activities and also a community building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Free food and drinks are provided and the evening ends with entertainment by Rod Sipe. The event is scheduled Sept. 16 from 5-8 p.m.
Police said if you want to bring a car for the Car Show, contact Sgt. Eliel Borges at 785-210-4757 or at 785-762-5912. No Registration is needed. Organizers are looking for classic Muscle Cars and Supercars. Bring your car down between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
