Historical Society release
Acoustic Junction is returning to St. Joseph's Historic Church on Saturday, October 4th. . Performers for the event include Mark Westfall and Steve Brown, Chris Biggs and Ken Gustin, and Pat Billington, along with a special performance by the Guys on the Creek.
Refreshments will begin at 6:30pm and music starts at 7:00pm. St. Joseph's Historic Church is a 115-year-old church located at 13497 Lower McDowell Creek Road and is currently being restored by the Geary County Historical Society and the Lower McDowell Creek Community. Work over the past year has included a new roof, repairs to interior plaster, and new dry wall.
All proceeds benefit the restoration project. To reach St. Joe's, head east on I-70 and take exit 307. Head south on Lower McDowell Creek Road for about 2 miles and the church will be on the left.
