Geary County Sheriff's Department reported that Deputies responded to K-57 at mile marker 6 at 8:16 p.m. Thursday for a single vehicle injury accident. Richard E. Peterson of Junction City was traveling westbound in his 2018 Ford Eco Sport when he struck a deer. Minor injuries were reported but EMS was refused. The vehicle was moved by the owner.
