In late June or July, when the project reaches the ramps at exit 296, KDOT and the City of Junction City will replace all pavement on the Washington Street roundabout.
Phase Two is scheduled to be completed in November 2024. Phase Three is scheduled to begin in March 2025 and will replace the deteriorated pavement in the eastbound lanes. All phases of this project are to be completed by December 2025, weather permitting. Wildcat Construction Co. Inc. and Subsidiaries, of Wichita, is the prime contractor of this $30 million project.
