Junction City High School volleyball teams worked on their game during their preseason Blue / White scrimmage Friday evening at the senior high. Coach Katie Dehoff said it was good to see the players get game ready.
Dehoff said across the board the team is hitting with phenomenal speed, power and effort. "They're seeing blocks, they're seeing the other side of the court and they're knowing where to put the ball."
Dehoff touched on some of the players that will see varsity action including Ava DeGuzman, Veda Howell, Anja Vonspreckleson and Rilynn Hotard.
Junction City will open the season on Thursday in a triangular at Topeka West.
