Symphony in the Flinthills was a successful summer concert series that wrapped up this year. But now at the Geary County Convention & Visitors Bureau a new proposal is surfacing.
Raquel Cinco, CVB Director, has suggested having a Symphony on the Lake. She would like to see it happen in the fall of 2026 at Milford Lake. "I was initially thinking the K-State Symphony ( performing ) but they're schedule for 2026 is already set so with that I would look at a couple of other places."
A goal is to bring in tourism with visitors to lodging facilities.
Two potential locations mentioned for this event were Acorns Resort or Dedication Point at Milford lake.
