Geary USD 475 Board of Education did not take any action on setting a salary for members Tuesday evening at the Devin Center. They postponed the discussion until their October meeting.

The idea first suggested by Board member Jason Butler has called for a $6,000 salary with annual increases indexed to 50% of the average annual increases received by teachers.

--In other business the Board adopted the 2025-26 school district budget and local option budget.

--After intense discussion Board members tabled a motion to stop paying $62,500 a month for the gov.link contract and instead have an employee on the staff handle the job. GovLink manages the District's intergovernmental support agreement with Fort Riley. It involves administrative support for construction for the Post

The issue will brought back to the Board at their October meeting.
