Rain moved through the area on Friday night, but the Junction City Rodeo went on as planned. Despite the muddy arena, a large crowd was in attendance for the first of two nights at the 31st annual Junction City Rodeo.

The rodeo once again begins tonight at 8:00 p.m. at the Geary County 4-H Fairgrounds Arena. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for kids 6-12, and children five and under are admitted free.
