A Special Olympics Kansas basketball tournament will be held this Saturday, Feb. 24, at Junction City High School.
In total, 327 athletes will be playing on 33 teams from around the North Central part of the state.
North Central Region Director Krystin Guggisberg said they are still looking for volunteers as several roles still need to be filled. The volunteers would be cheerleading judges, scorekeepers, referees, and individuals to help with skills competitions.
The tournament starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m.
