Quality Play for All - the non-profit that led the renovations at 5th Street Playground Park - applied for and was awarded a $50,000 grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas to install a new fitness court at the park. Quality Play for All is led by Kendall Schoenrock, Angie Greenwood, and Joy Davis.
This is a joint venture with the City and was supported by a number of other local organizations. Josh Gray with Parks and Rec is managing the installation process. We hope to have it installed in the next month or so.
