Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Golf Scramble

Junction City, KS — The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce successfully hosted its annual Golf Scramble at Rolling Meadows Golf Course, bringing together local businesses, community leaders, and residents for a day of networking, friendly competition, and community celebration.

The event, organized by the Chamber’s Membership Division, highlighted the strength and support of the local business community. Twenty-nine teams participated in the four-person scramble, enjoying a day on the course while building relationships and supporting Chamber initiatives.

“This event is about more than golf—it’s about connection,” said Kelly Cook, Membership Director of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s an opportunity for our members and community partners to come together, support one another, and celebrate the impact of local businesses.”

The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to all sponsors who made the event possible. Footlocker joined as the Eagle Sponsor for the first time, helping to lead the event’s success. Additional support came from Birdie Sponsors including Ashley King–RE/MAX, City of Junction City, Eagle Communications, Economy Electric, Networks Plus, Rolling Hills Construction, and Scooter’s Coffee. Goldening’s Washing served as a Par Sponsor.

Briggs provided the Hole-in-One prize, offering participants the chance to win a year’s lease on a vehicle, while Josh Salmans State Farm sponsored the beverage cart and Blu Restaurant & Bar provided food for attendees. Numerous hole sponsors also contributed to the success of the event, showcasing their businesses throughout the course.

The Chamber also recognizes the contributions of Tim Stedman, Sommer McCormick, and the team at Rolling Meadows Golf Course, along with Chamber staff and volunteers, whose efforts ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Funds raised through the Golf Scramble support the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth, business development, and community engagement throughout Junction City and the surrounding region.
