The Lady Jay Tennis team traveled to Topeka on Wednesday and earned a runner up finish at the Topeka High Varsity Tennis Invite. All singles and doubles entries finished in the top four places. Eight schools participated in the tournament.

The Lady Jays were led by the #2 doubles team of Rebecca Monroe and Sarah Chang and #1 singles player, Hannah Micheel. Both finished in 2nd place of their division, losing only in the championship matches. Julia Cho competed in the #2 singles division and went 3-1 on the day to capture 3rd place, while Stephanie Stanislow and Ohemaa Sarpong went 2-2 to earn a 4th place finish.

The Lady Jays next travel to Olathe Northwest for a quadrangular on Thursday. Matches will be held at the CBAC and begin at 3 pm.
