JCHS student athletes celebrate signing day in a sweet way

If you were fortunate to attend the Student-Athlete Signing Day celebration at Junction City High School you had an opportunity to cheer on the Blue Jays and Lady Jays that signed letters of intent to compete in sports at the collegiate level. There were also photo opportunities with the athletes and their families, and you got to partake in the cupcakes with blue icing!

Eighteen JCHS athletes have signed letters of intent.

The athletes and their sports include:

Bowling:

--Allyson Heidenreich, Barton County Community College

--Olivia Oliver, Barton County Community College

Boys basketball:

--Seth Clark, St. Mary's College

--Ismael Fadiga, Ottawa University

--Howard Johnson, Barton County Community College

--Alex Watts, Seward County Community College

Cheer:

--Amaiya Rohan, Friends University

Cross Country:

--Tyler Atkins, Pittsburg State University

Football:

--Keghan McConnell, Coffeyville Community College

--TJ Osa, Ottawa University

--David Rowell, Ottawa University

--Rudy Vargas, Hutchinson Community College

Soccer:

--Renzo Canzano, Manhattan Christian College

Softball:

--Hannah Ratts, Culver Stockton College

Tennis:

--Abby Ratts, Friends University

Track:

--Elijah Evans, Bethany College

--Jayda Harris, Emporia State University

--Chase Howard, Bethany College
