The Junction City Middle School football teams faced off against the Eisenhower Middle School Eagles out of Manhattan this past Thursday. The seventh grade team lost by a score of 28-8. The seventh grade B team did earn their first win of the season by a score of 6-0.
The eighth grade team suffered their first loss of the season by a score of 16-8, making their season record 3-1. The eighth grade B team improved to 4-0 on the season, winning by a score of 6-0.
Both B team games were shortened by lighting in the area. The middle school teams will be in action again Thursday facing Emporia.
